LOCATION: Habitat for Humanity Construction Site (parking at Lake Trail School).
As you know, the table topic of this meet is Legal and Insurance as it pertains to the world of construction. We have Marquis Diment joining us. Marq is a construction lawyer, who will be sharing his council on the freedom of contract, transferring risk and legal matters that should be considered in our field of work.
Gord Thompson will also be sharing his work as a commercial insurance specialist. He will advise on protecting you and/or your company should a significant error or disaster occur. Thanks to you both!
We decided at the last meet that we weren't going to have dinner as part of our meetings, but Habitat has offered to host a BBQ fundraiser as part of this event. There will be hamburgers and veggie burgers as well as desert by donation. PLEASE BRING CASH. Not to worry, BIC will provide local craft beer).
There will also be Habitat apparel available. This is a great opportunity to show your support!
Along with the cold beer, Builders In Company will donate a percentage of the $30.00 meeting fee to Habitat for Humanity's Lake Trail project.
